Kathy Partridge, Executive Director of Interfaith Funders
was Program Officer with the Needmor Fund for ten years,
where her grantmaking focused on community organizing
nationwide, the Southern states of Alabama, Mississippi and
Louisiana, and welfare reform, with discretionary grants
supporting independent media. Kathy served on the Interfaith
Funders grantmaking committee from 1999-2003, and
participated in the FBCO State of the Field research project.  
She was a co-author of the National Network of Grantmakers
Common Grant Application, and was awarded the honorary
status of “Elder” at NNG’s 25th Anniversary in 2005.  

Kathy has been an organizer in Mississippi, Europe, and
Colorado on social justice, women's, and peace issues.  She’s
led environmental, media and human service non-profit
organizations in management, development, communications,
and volunteer coordination, from the local to the international
level.  She was a member of the Grassroots Global Justice
delegation to the World Social Forum in Mumbai, India in 2004.  

For more than twenty years, she’s been a radio host and
producer at Denver-Boulder’s community station KGNU, and
represented the station at an AMARC global community radio
conference in Nicaragua in 1989.   

She is a graduate of the University of Colorado (Peace and
Conflict Studies) and holds an MA from Regis University in
Social Justice Philanthropy and Organizing, with research on
how progressive philanthropists advance social movements
through strategic grantmaking.
